The challenge
The Government Property Agency approached us to create a visual illustration of smarter working scenarios and principles within the Civil Service. Designed for print and online purposes, the picture had to be detailed enough to showcase a variety of working locations, such as offices, homes and coffee shops, while also being clear enough to help staff at all levels understand the key messages of smarter working.
Our solution
We developed a multi-layered environment of workspaces, featuring scenes of collaboration and technology capability. Characters and objects are 2D for a consistent and contemporary graphic style. To bring the picture to life, we created an engaging animation giving movement to each scene, like people typing, teams interacting and trains passing by outside. Zooming in on different scenes, it clearly explains key principles to help everyone understand what smarter working means for them.
